Our Full Search Process

In close collaboration with our client, Lansing & Associates will tailor the scope of work to meet the needs and wishes of the client, with a commitment to efficiency and timeliness.  Our search process consists of the following phases:

  1. Create the Strategic Recruitment Plan
    1. Work collaboratively with the client to gain an understanding of the institution and its organizational structure through an in-depth site visit
    2. Develop a position description and time line for the search.
    3. Assist the institution in development and placement of the search advertisement.
  2. Build the Candidate Pool
    1. Identify and recruit a pool of qualified candidates
    2. Provide references on the most promising candidates
    3. Present the strongest and best-qualified candidates to the client institution Interview
  3. Process and Referencing
    1. Assist the client in structuring the interview process and developing appropriate questions
    2. Conduct in-depth references on the final pool of candidates
    3. Facilitate communications between the selected candidate and the client and assist in structuring the final offer
  4. The Transitional Process
    1. Maintain contact with the client and the chosen candidate through the initial phase of adjustment
